Xavier McLean

Attorney Xavier J. McLean joined Raleigh Divorce Law Firm in January 2024. 

Xavier is a graduate of the University of North Carolina School of Law and Brigham Young University. Prior to pursuing law, he worked as a Child Protective Services Caseworker in Utah. His experiences as a caseworker shaped his interest in family law as he recognized the importance of representation for individuals and families navigating legal issues.

While in law school, Xavier served in the Black Law Student Association and as the inaugural secretary of Carolina Law’s First-Generation Professionals. He also worked as a student-attorney in the school’s Intellectual Property Clinic and competed on the Holderness Moot Court Corporate Team. Prior to joining Raleigh Divorce Law Firm, he worked at a civil litigation firm in Raleigh.

A native of Jacksonville, North Carolina, Xavier enjoys playing basketball and spending time with his wife and son.
