Raleigh & Cary Divorce Attorney Lauren R. Hinzey
Lauren is a 2010 graduate of Duquesne University Law School. During her second year of law school, Lauren participated in the Civil and Family Justice Law Clinic where she was placed at KidsVoice, a public interest organization that represents abused, neglected, and at-risk youth in Allegheny County. In this role, under attorney supervision, she served as a Guardian ad Litem for children in various court proceedings. Following the end of her second year of law school Lauren received a fellowship through the Summer Public Interest Fellowship Program which permitted her to continue focusing her efforts on abused, neglected and at risk youth.
During Lauren’s third year of law school, she clerked at Notaro & Associates, P.C., a family law firm located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She gained experience assisting attorneys in case preparation and drafting various family law pleadings and documents. She also spent two summers interning in a real estate firm where she learned to complete title searches and draft deeds for various real estate transactions.
